Award ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of NEXUS Automotive International at the NEXUS Business Forum in Monaco

NEXUS Automotive International, the global alliance of leading automotive parts distributors and manufacturers in the automotive aftermarket, honors Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket with the "NEXUS Growth Accelerator Passenger Cars 2014-2024" Award. The award ceremony took place during the NEXUS Business Forum from March 5 to 7, 2024 in Monaco. As a leading automotive aftermarket network, NEXUS Automotive International thus recognizes the successful and trusting cooperation with Schaeffler as one of the strategic partners that has existed since the trade cooperation was founded 10 years ago.

Jens Schüler, CEO Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, and the Schaeffler management team accepted the award in Monaco. In particular, the joint focus on digitalization, innovation and sustainability over the past 10 years as well as the ability of the Schaeffler team to support the needs of NEXUS members and the NEXUS initiatives in a pioneering way and to play a driving role in them were criteria for the award.

Focus on digital, innovative, and sustainable initiatives
To tackle current issues and future challenges such as electrification, digitalization and climate change, NEXUS Automotive International, together with its partners, plays a pivotal role in the development of industry initiatives. On its 10th anniversary, the company looks back on an extraordinary expansion that now includes over 150 members in 137 countries worldwide. All are united by a common goal: innovative solutions for a sustainable and connected automotive aftermarket. "Our collaboration has been crucial in driving digitalization in the automotive aftermarket. Through initiatives such as the implementation of industry solutions like myITG and PETRA, we have accelerated the digital transformation," says Kai Guijo Müller, Vice President Global Accounts ITGs Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket.

N! Climate Day: Vision for a more sustainable aftermarket
The joint vision for a more sustainable automotive aftermarket is addressed by NEXUS Automotive International at its "N! Climate Day" – a high-level forum that took place on March 5, 2024, during the Business Forum and put the spotlight on key players and initiatives. As one of the most supporting suppliers, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket presented its commitment to environmentally friendly action by means of a case study with Grupo Serca Automoción and demonstrated innovative solutions within the automotive aftermarket.

Schaeffler also honors top suppliers
In Monaco, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket also recognized its own customers within the NEXUS community for the best performance of the past year. Selection criteria included turnover in 2023, cooperation and the customer's product marketing.

In total, there were six different categories: The "Best Performance Award" overall went to NEXUS Automotive International France, the award for the LuK brand went to The Parts Alliance, for the INA brand to Materom, for the FAG brand to Inter Land, for light commercial vehicles to NEXUS Automotive International France and the award for long-term collaboration went to NEXUS Automotive International Brazil.
